Sarah Goehrke

Sarah (she/her) is a wordsmith who’s made a living as a technical writer and editor, and is now writing the stories she wants to tell.

The last few decades have been dedicated to more industrial perspectives, as a leading journalist and consultant in advanced manufacturing, always peppered with creative outlets and global travel to extend perspective. Experience in editing fiction for two ePublishing outlets kept Sarah grounded in different worlds, even as her day job might have taken her across the world.

Sarah earned her BA, summa cum laude, from Muskingum College (now University) in 2007 with majors in English (creative writing) and Theatre (directing), and a minor in Spanish. She has also earned certificates in Diversity and Inclusion for HR (Cornell), Digital Marketing (Google), and Selling to Strategics Certified Exit Guide (STS Capital Partners). She currently serves on the Board of Advisors of the nonprofit Project Publish, encouraging students to discover their voices as writers, and has served on the Board of Directors of nonprofit Women in 3D Printing (2018-2023) and the Board of Advisors of nonprofit Additive Manufacturing Coalition (2022-2024).

Born and raised near Cleveland, Ohio, US, Sarah lives with her incredible husband, brilliant child, and absurd clowder of cats close enough to Lake Erie to enjoy the beautiful beaches and avoid the worst of lake effect snow.
