Turners

The Wheel must turn.

The Turners saga

The Wheel of the Year must turn. Its motion, unending, unchanging, and always mutable, is that which sows the seeds of possibility, is that which reaps the harvest of potential.

The Wheel is the mill that moves intent, is the engine that leashes Chaos. From Chaos we emerged and from Chaos we suffered. From Chaos we sorrowed and died, needlessly, painfully, resentfully, senselessly.

Chaos’ circle encompassed all until a circle greater still began to turn, spoked and strong, enough to carry the weight of all that was and would be.

The Wheel set into motion generates a cosmic current and its path has been stamped into the very seams of Being itself. So long as the Wheel turns, our world may continue with plenty and with order, with bounty and with pleasure, with meaning and with progress.

The Wheel of the Year must turn.

so it is written in a tome kept within the libraries of the Coven of the Keepers

the Keepers

From a life Before when she was adopted into a family that had no use for magic, Aleris is Called to take her place among the most powerful nine witches in the universe: The Coven of the Keepers.

Tasked with turning the Wheel of the Year by creating Spokes from unwitting sacrifices in the mortal world, the Keepers hold the universe in their hands.

Until Aleris makes a choice that changes everything.

Saving Queen Daphne’s life when her sacrifice was meant to be death, Aleris’ mercy and compassion spark a war. Seeing herself as targeted rather than saved, Queen Daphne gathers her allies and declares war on all witches.

Everything hinges on Aleris’ next choice, especially when Molly, a Matron of the Coven, implores her to help with her own secret. Molly has a daughter who never should have been born — a daughter now chosen to die for the Wheel.

Saving Daphne, saving Molly’s daughter, Aleris makes choices following her heart. The Coven of the Keepers shatters following her betrayals of cosmic vows, Grounding Aleris and Molly together…directly into Daphne’s war.

the Burners

The Wheel is broken.

The Coven of the Keepers has been torn apart.

Sanverra is at war against witches, drawing powerful allies from its nearest neighbors. Aleris’ adoptive sister is married to the man leading the charge to burn witches.

Secrets emerge and lives entwine as the fate of the universe hinges on a changing ethos…

The Wheel must turn.

The Wheel must burn.

The second installation of the TURNERS saga greatly expands the scope, scale, and stakes of the world of witches. More lands, more witches, and a multi-perspective narration dive into the greatest stakeholders in a conflict that will tear lands apart and could shatter the Wheel itself…

the Plotters

Ten years later, Aleris is still coming to terms with the aftermath of the Burning Times — and so is the rest of the world.

The northern lands have a new queen who loves their king. She also loves witches and opened their borders to magic bearers and their allies, immediately drawing a line.

Borders are in dispute, politics are in upheaval, and, to the south, witches are still being hunted. Another new queen is set to continue her mother’s war on magic, unknowingly setting herself against a sister she thought long dead.

Politicking seems ridiculous, though, when monsters keep rising from the sea, dropped there from a Wheel that’s turning out of control.

Witches outside the world are finally working to balance the Wheel of the Year and get fate back on track while there’s still a world left to save.

The third book of the TURNERS saga follows fate and folly to their natural consequences, tied together by human nature and the forces that rule us all.

turners

With two books written and more in progress, TURNERS is ready to transport readers to a world where magic is real and nothing is simple.

Interspersed with vignettes following the experiences that turn the Wheel, the TURNERS saga will appeal to readers of adult and new adult works where words and worlds weave together lyrically and logically.
